Greg said "I want to make a table that has the proportions of the Vitruvian Man." So he got out the DaVinci drawing and used those proportions to create a prototype with our blacksmith. Our Vitruvian Table with Dropped Stretcher is made from hand forged solid iron.

We offer two stretcher positions as the looks are quite distinct. The raises stretcher creates a slightly lighter feeling complete table, as it disappears under the top. The dropped stretcher has a more robust look. For outdoor use, please select our powder coat base finish. A RT Facts Design made by hand in our Kent, Connecticut workshop.

Hand Forged

Many of our iron pieces are hand forged by our expert craftspeople. The resulting texture give the piece a distinctive quality, almost a movement, that can be felt across the room.

Blackened Finish

Our Blackened finish is our tried and true standard which we love very much. It reads as a very warm almost black color with much dimension, allowing for the life and texture of the metal to shine through.
