Our versatile Tazza Table can be used as a side, center or occasional table. Constructed of solid plywood with each piece cut by hand, stacked, and shaped into this classic form, before being painted.
For our faux painted porphyry finish option, the painted finish imitates the natural texture found in the igneous rock, Porphyry. Porphyry is known as the Marble of the Kings and is named after the ancient Greek word for purple and is one of, if not the, hardest known stone in antiquity. It was prized for monuments and buildings in Imperial Rome and thereafter and is identified by it's purple-red color with small white and black crystals. Our painter, Judy, replicates this beautiful stone by hand.
This table showcases a raised edge. One size only. For indoor use only. Made by hand in our Kent, Connecticut workshop.
