A stunning set of four 19th C. English mahogany hall chairs with shaped backrests and seats, turned front legs, and tapered rear legs. Each chair features a painted heraldic medallion depicting a recumbent lion and crown. A carved grip can be found on the reverse of the backrest for easy transportation.
