Item No. #CHAIR-26052800

An important and scarce set of eight English Arts & Crafts dining chairs by Heal & Son, London, known as the “Churchill” model. Executed in rich mahogany, each chair displays the restrained geometric vocabulary that defined the Arts & Crafts movement, with a distinctive lattice back formed by intersecting vertical stiles and gently arched horizontal splats.

The design balances architectural rigor with warmth, reflecting Heal & Son's role as one of the leading proponents of progressive British furniture design at the turn of the twentieth century. The frames are in very good antique condition with age related wear. The drop-in seats are ready for recovering, though they remain perfectly usable as found. Priced and sold as a set of eight. An RT Facts find.
