A substantial pair of antique Italian terra cotta pots with broad rolled rims, rounded bodies and small loop handles to the shoulders. Each is identically decorated with applied floral rosettes and incised banding around the body, above molded rings and tapered bases. One rosette is more weathered than the other and one has a slight lean, accounting for the slight visual difference between the two. One has a drainage hole at the bottom. Retaining richly weathered surfaces with areas of lichen, mineral deposits and natural textures. Priced and sold as a pair. An RT Facts find.
