A handsome pair of late 19th-century mahogany armchairs in the Georgian taste, each featuring a shaped crest rail above a vase-form splat. The boldly carved arms terminate in eagle-head handholds, while the seats are raised on cabriole legs with acanthus-carved knees and claw-and-ball feet. Each chair having needlepoint seats.
