Whimsical Painted Pennsylvania Dutch Desk (SOLD)

An antique Pennsylvania Dutch style desk restored in the traditional manner of Pennsylvania Dutch furniture in the year 1943. The desk features turned legs, a folding desk with interior shelving, a sliding drawer, and compartment on the top. In very good antique condition, with vibrant paint and good hardware. An RT Facts find. 

The inscription on the back reads: "This old desk restored and decorated after the manner of old Pennsylvania Dutch pieces in authentic designs and colors. For Ruth Ward and Hans Albert Von Behr as their wedding gift from Anne and Arthur Estabrook".
