Majestic oversized carved Carrara marble throne chair. Stylized winged griffin arms, Phoenixes on the crest, carved decorative detail throughout. Sit in this and you are the king (or queen!). Country of origin: Italy. The arms were modeled as zoomorphic beasts, the inside back centered by a shield and surmounted by dolphin-like creatures above three ribbon-tied shields, the back further ornately carved with a bird, intertwined foliage, and zoomorphic heads, on boldly carved paw feet.
