Milliner's Mirror

Years ago we found a threadbare, faded velvet mirror with hat pins and a gazillion holes poked into it. It was used in a Milliner's (hat-maker's)shop as a big pin cushion. We imagined dashing ladies standing in front of the mirror being fitted for a new chapeau and the milliner poking a selection of pins into the client's updos. We replicated the form, increased the size a bit and created a soft option to our mirror offerings. We have been making it for years with various mohair velvets and COM.

Our Milliner's Mirror features an upholstered frame and flat mirror in either clear or a lightly distressed Heirloom mirror finish. We typically have a couple of these mirrors in stock, upholstered with bits of beautiful fabrics we have collect during our travels - mohairs, velvets, solids and patterns alike. Aside from the in-stock versions, we offer this mirror only in Customer's Own Material.
