Our Gesso Bird Chandelier is handmade from brass and copper armatures that are built up and sculpted in gesso. Every stage of the process is completed by hand, evident in the textured white finish. Its low profile and visually lightweight design allow it to illuminate a room without obstructing sight lines.

For indoor use only. An RT Facts Design made by hand in our Kent, Connecticut workshop. It showcases six in-lighting bulbs tucked into cups for up-lighting. Shallow cups are lined with copper.

Gesso Finish

Our gesso finish is a multi-step process in which layers of gesso are applied to build a texture, followed by the application of a lighter finishing coat for an ever so slight satin finish.

Crafting a chandelier

Every step of the process is manipulated by hand, illustrated in the sculpted white finish. It's low profile and visually lightweight and doesn't impede sight lines in a room.
