Our Clasp design was initially designed as a desk. It was inspired by coffee table in our home. We had a thick rounded slab of wood that needed a frame to hold it so we designed a base with round hand wrought clasps. The Clasp Table today utilizes flat steel for production and features a racetrack oval, leather wrapped top.
Our version is made from 3" x .75" cold rolled steel. Cold rolled steel products provide a superior surface finish, and are superior in tolerance, concentricity, and straightness when compared to hot rolled.
