Armillaries are traditional implements for time telling and have been around for centuries. With all of our hunting and gathering, we find lots of pieces, parts and things that are crying out to be transformed into something new, so we have come up with the more decorative elements to pair with the traditional piece. Sometimes these items sit on a shelf in our inspiration library just waiting for the right moment to shine. As is the case with a cast iron architectural griffin, which found a new use as a caryatid for an armillary sphere.
This in stock Armillary is suitable for indoor or outdoor use. Armillary spehere can be purchased without the base for $3,800. An RT Facts Design and Find combination and made by hand in our Kent, Connecticut workshop.
