19th Century cast iron sculpture of an Egyptian youth holding a torch, signed A. Granoux, Marseilles. The youth stands on a matching pedestal which is a separate piece. Lovely detailing in the loincloth and hair-plating. There is a repair on the shaft of the torch, on the circular base, and at the shoulder of the right arm. Otherwise excellent condition and has a beautiful patina. An RT Facts Find.
