A magnificent half-scale 19th C. carved marble statue of Napoleon Bonaparte standing with one hand in his jacket. Signed Prof. A. Petrilli, Firenze by the Italian sculptor, Aristide Petrilli (1868-1930) on the back. This piece has spent some time in the garden, and has taken on a beautiful, weathered patina. The corner of his left lapel shows signs of a small break. Please see photos. In otherwise very good antique condition.
