A magnificent 18th century Gustavian high relief heavily carved wood wall panel. It has beautifully detailed imagery showing a pair of doves resting on a star-covered lyre holding a laurel wreath. Draped swags and ribbons are woven throughout. A central urn overflows with flowers and is flanked by bows and arrows, a quiver, and cornucopias. The panel could be stunning in an entryway or hanging above a fireplace. Lovely natural weathering and patina. Incredible artistry. Expertly restored with carved pieces replaced in several areas.
