18th C. North Italian Baroque Carved Walnut Sideboard

An 18th century North Italian walnut sideboard incorporating earlier 17th century architectural elements. The case is fitted with two short drawers above a central cabinet enclosed by paneled doors with bold turned bosses and geometric moldings. The interior retains an old painted surface in terra cotta red.

Fluted columns frame the façade and divide the central section, with rosettes throughout. Raised on a stepped base. In very good antique condition.
