A very good late 18th-century George III mahogany rent table with a revolving top inset with its original black gilt-tooled leather writing surface, bordered by concentric gilt rules within a finely carved edge. The circular frieze is fitted with drawers around the perimeter, each retaining its original brass swan-neck handle and identified by a three-letter alphabetical designation burned into an inlaid shaped wood cartouche.

Raised on a square pedestal cabinet enclosed by paneled doors opening to shelved storage, all resting on a molded plinth base. Richly figured mahogany throughout; expected age-related wear to the leather including scuffs, scratches, and markings. Structurally in very good condition and ready for placement. Well suited to an entry hall, library, or study. An RT Facts find.
