This table in fact begin many many years ago when our co-founder Greg bought into the workshop … a wishbone from his dinner the night before.  He handed it to our forger and said, make me a base like this!  You could say that evolution and nature are the true inspiration for this design.

THE SLO-BEND

The success of the Wishbone lead us to expand on its basic form.  The Slo-Bend is a bolder more substantial base that does not require a low stretcher to maintain rigidity.  Each side of the base like all of our table bases is solid hand forged steel. Married with a solid forged supporting bar for the ultimate rigidity, the Slo-Bend can support the heaviest of tops including solid stone and concrete.
