Vitruvian Design | RT Facts Design & AntiquesThe Vitruvian table base was inspired by a drawing by Leonardo da Vinci entitled “The Vitruvian Man”.  It shows the proportions of the human body according to Vitruvius’ made by the Italian polymath in about 1490. It is accompanied by notes based on the work of the Roman architect Vitruvius.

The table is hand forged and welded here in CT by our skilled artisans. Available in several finishes including raw steel, blackened steel and now in a gilt gold painted finish.

It is a versatile design that can be used with a solid wood or metal top and even glass.
