An appallingly rare pair of Victorian cast iron console tables, with original marble, made and designed by the pioneering iron indoor furniture maker, Yates Haywood & Co, Rotherham, UK 1854. An identical table can be found in the Victoria & Albert Museum, London. Each table is twice stamped with a maker’s mark on the inner frame. The cast iron bases and original, shaped marble tops are in excellent antique condition. Priced and sold as a pair. An RT Facts Finds.
