In 2013, Greg and Brendan made a prototype coffee table inspired by Isamu Noguchi and Henry Moore: a thick slab of live-edge walnut atop two pieces of shaped wood, finished in a heavy layer of gesso. Our Sculpteur line was born. In the last decade, we have introduced dining and console tables, mirrors, and refined the original coffee table.

Wood top with chamfer edge is 1.5" thick; wood top with shark nose edge is 1.625" thick; polished cast stone top is 1.5" thick. This table comes pre-drilled and with assembly hardware. For indoor use only. An RT Facts Design made by hand in our Kent, Connecticut workshop.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS - Coffee Tables

Gesso Finish

Our gesso finish is a multi-step process in which layers of gesso are applied to build a texture, followed by the application of a lighter finishing coat for an ever so slight satin finish.

Solid Wood

Our woods are finished or sealed solid woods, not veneer. We truly believe our wood table tops get better with age as each scratch, scuff and ding builds patina and shapes the story the piece has to tell.
