An early 20th Century American tilt top side table with peg construction and oblong top. The base is fit with a locking mechanism that releases the top to tilt upwards. The hexagonal base is branded with the maker's name, "Mark Ryan" and the initials "M. Ryan" are branded on the underside of the top. In good antique condition; the top wiggles when locked, which is not a defect but a characteristic of the locking mechanism, and it is study enough for everyday use. An RT Facts find.
