A 19th Century French Double Billot De Boucher or Butcher Block.  The block top is shaped from decades of use in a French boucherie. The top is comprised of parquetry and has nickel-plated brass brackets on the corners. Beneath the butcher block are two large drawers with round nickel-plated pulls. The center has two nickel-plated brass slots for knife storage.  A hand-carved, scalloped apron runs the length of the table and continues on each side. The turned-fluted legs feature carved diamonds. In excellent antique condition. An RT Facts Find.
