Wrestlers (also known as The Two Wrestlers, The Uffizi Wrestlers or The Pancrastinae) is after the lost Third Century BCE Greek “Wrestlers” depicting two men engaged in the pankration, a king of wrestling. This terra cotta version sold in the Sotheby’s Sussex Garden Statuary and Architectural Elements auction in 1993 (Lot 433) for $18,000.
