Pair of French Polychrome Enameled Cast Iron Rouen Pots

A fine pair of 19th century French polychrome enameled cast iron Rouen style pots or urns. With blue-grey, red, and white stencil decoration and classical figurative handles. Beautifully patinated surface. There is a crack running along the side of one of the urns, and there is a chip near the base of the other. Previously acquired from Galerie Stéphane Olivier, Paris, 2003. Priced and sold as a pair.
