A fine pair of life-sized sculpted lead opposing head eagle statues acquired from a Newport, RI estate. An excellent example of late 19th century English garden statuary. Great detail with old weathered patina throughout. Ideal for a country estate, opposing head statues perfectly flank an entrance, garden, fireplace, foyer, or porte-cochère. Some repair work present at the base of one of the statues. See photos.
