A monumental 19th century Italian Impruneta terracotta storage vessel or urn. Once used for storing olive oil. Impressive size with family crest or plaque depicting deer and fish. Great natural weathering and patina. With holes added later for drainage. This urn has undergone significant repairs to fix several cracks and losses. Most recently acquired from a Palm Beach estate. Another similar urn also available. Perfect as an indoor/outdoor decorative piece or as a planter for a large shrub or tree.
