Late 19th Century Marble Bench with Lion and Satyr Carvings

A spectacular late 19th century carved marble bench.  The seat features a carved satyr, sometimes referred to as a green man, flanked with oak leaf and floral carvings.  The two supports are carved both on the inside and out, and each features a unique lion face and paw feet.  The whole bench is beautifully patinated with age.  Elegant and mysterious.
