A painted library ladder from the Bibliotheque National of Paris, circa 1900. With a wonderful faded grey paint surface, a top shelf, and a simple shell motif on the back latch board. Under the top shelf, black stencil on the shield motif reads BN Paris. A smaller stencil of only BN can be seen on the side. A perfect companion for a large bookcase, or for simple display.
