18th Century Gustavian High Relief Carved Wood Wall Panel

A magnificent 18th century Gustavian high relief heavily carved wood wall panel. Having beautifully detailed imagery showing a pair of doves resting on a star covered lyre holding a laurel wreath. Draped swags and ribbons woven throughout. A central urn overflows with flowers and is flanked by bows and arrows, a quiver, and cornucopias. The panel could be stunning in an entryway or hanging above a fireplace. Lovely natural weathering and patina. Incredible artistry. Expertly restored with carved pieces replaced in several areas. An identical faux wood painted plaster panel is also available for $5,800.
