A Rococo style pier mirror from the Phipps family estate on Long Island. 18th century, ornately carved and gilt wood with a tall crest. Age related wear and repairs. The Phipps family were heirs to the U.S. Steel fortune. Their 160 acre turn-of-the-century mansion is now a museum home.
