Two Fantastic Locations, Visit Both
After 25 years we’ve had plenty of time to grow and cultivate our dynamic network of artisans and materials, all local. So naturally when it came time to expand, we knew we had to stick to our roots. Our 2 locations share the same aesthetic soul, and showcase our process as well as our pieces. The main street shop will forever be the spot for treasure hunters, where you can see sparks fly from grinding metal and hear the sound of a running fountain. The gallery is our museum style showroom, a stunning 7,000 sqft addition, entirely unique in it’s form, just like the custom designed pieces we fill it with. It’s not a true stop at the “shop” without visiting both.
Our Shop on South Main
Greg & Natalie purchased the old Town Hall of Kent in 1992, and the shop has been a secret source for designers since day one. With three buildings and garden spaces, the Main Street shop also houses our offices and workshop. A stroll around the grounds is sure to be a treasure hunt, garnished with peeks into our workshop, a greeting from our scruffy shop dog, Willa, or an insightful story of provenance from Greg or Natalie about a piece. Changing everyday, our Main Street shop is the brain center of RT Facts.
The Gallery at the Barns
Opened in June of 2016, the Gallery is the visual thesis of RT Facts aesthetic: a dichotomy of antique forms and custom-designed pieces in a modern space. Have a seat in the Italian Carved marble throne chair and gaze up at a giant mobile hanging from the 20ft ceilings. Peruse the locally-forged and hand-sculpted dining tables, complimented by Brutalist limestone sculptures and ceiling-high windows. When you stumble upon the full-size horse (dinosaur?) skeleton you will feel like you have gotten lost in a museum. Nothing about this space is “ordinary”.
